Canon PowerShot SX10 iS review : The Canon SX10 IS Megazoom camera is the successor to the PowerShot S5 IS. When it comes to appearance, the Canon SX10 IS looks a lot like its predecessor, but if you thought its size would have decreased somewhat, you’re wrong; the camera has even slightly grown. However; you do get something in return. The 12x optical zoom lens has been replaced by a 20x, which keeps Canon nicely in pace with its rivals. Panasonic has posted the first firmware update for its DMC-G1 Micro Four-Thirds camera. The update is said to improve the AE Lock and MF Assist features, along with the overall performance. It also lets the user make color adjustments to the camera’s LCD and EVF. This follows on from the firmware update for Panasonic DMC-LX3 that was made available for download yesterday. We will update our LX3 review with the latest version as soon as we get a moment.

A Celebration of Art – Weddings, Portraits, and Faces with Fay Sirkis is the new video training DVD for those who want to take their digital paint to the next level. Building off the instructor's prior DVD, Paint Like A Master this video continues your education in the use of Painter X and Adobe Photoshop for creating digital artwork. It is hosted by Fay Sirkis, an internationally recognized portrait artist, photographer, and instructor. The video is published by National Association of Photoshop Professionals, or NAPP.
